Nap suggestions?
Please be gentle with me, mamas....i feel like SUCH a ROOKIE!
As I recall with our big kids when they were little, I am just "rolling with" the kids' own rhythms. We are not ( & never have been) a super structured family. Baby is almost 9 months and toddler just over 2.5 years. Some of you may recall me stressing over toddler's diffisulties getting to sleep at bedtime. We DID quit doing a nap and then he started going to bed more easily at night.. well, now the last few weeks he seems very tired during the day. I would like to try to get him to nap after lunch. Mostly, i hang out with the littles in the living room and kitchen/dining room...and end up holding the baby while she naps after she falls asleep nursing. I had been laying her in her swing, but she has outgrown te swing...i have been very hesitant to try and move her to her pack & pkay in the bedroom for fear of her waking up Question....especially if your baby and toddler were in a shared room...how did you get them to nap simultaneously? I know for our toddler, his i creased need for sleep lately is likely temporary...but even if i could institute a "quiet time"? I feel really gun shy like i am setting myself for a struggle...but i know i could REALLY use that time to accomplish some things TIA |
