Re: SO what is for dinner?
We will be having cheese ravioli with homemade marinara sauce and creamed spinach. It is my go-to meal for absolutely crazy days full of commitments and not much time to cook.

Re: SO what is for dinner?
Don't know yet... I have to go to the grocery store later (it's the nearest ATM) so I'll probably pick something up there to cook...

Re: SO what is for dinner?
I was going to make burgers tonight, but I only have 1 lb. of ground beef and DH informs me that this will be woefully insufficient for our family of huge appetites. So I need to do something with ground beef and the excess of sliced cheese I'll now have, that will stretch a little further than burgers.

Re: SO what is for dinner?
Tonight we're having a roast, it's been in the crockpot since last night. As sides we have asparagus spears and potato wedges ready to steam and bake respectively.
My Dh haaaaaaates peas. Hates them. I'm not sure why.

Re: SO what is for dinner?
Emili, would your family go for burgers where you've mixed in grated carrots and onions and bread crumbs and such? It would stretch the ground beef and be kinda like meatloaf in burger form.

Re: SO what is for dinner?
I've got this in the oven right now.
http://www. sixsistersstuff.com/2012/01/slow-cooker-honey-sesame-chicken-recipe.html Not the crockpot though, because I accidentally bought bone in chicken breasts, and I need it done in time for ballet/bible study/parent meeting at the school night. |

Re: SO what is for dinner?
We had hot dogs mixed with "hot dog sauce" and cheese, topped with BBQ potato chips
I buy SteamFresh frozen peas. They stay yummy when microwaved according to package directions

Tonight I'm "making" turkey soup, meaning that I dump a couple quarts of frozen bone broth into a pot with the frozen turkey that I saved from our last carcass and a bag of frozen soup veggies. I love putting forth zero effort. |

Re: SO what is for dinner?
I'm thinking stromboli....just not sure what fillings.
1 needs to be pepperoni and cheese. The other can be anything under the sun... |
