Cursive curriculum help
Can anyone recommend a good cursive curriculum for an 8.5 y/o? I have been eyeing Handwriting without tears and Christian liberty handwriting. Possibly something that would fit in well with All about spelling that DD is currently doing.

Re: Cursive curriculum help
I don't know about All about Spelling so it may or may not work, but my girls and I really like New American Cursive.

They do HWT with my 8.5 dd's class and she loves it.

Re: Cursive curriculum help
Thanks FlyingBlueKiwi and Llee! I have a few questions about it. Do you feel like the teacher's guide is easy to follow and teach? is it teacher intensive? And do I just buy the basic teacher's guide and the student cursive handwriting book or are the other stuff there necessary too?

Re: Cursive curriculum help
My oldest did Zaner Bloser cursive. It didn't work nearly so well DD2, so she and DD3 are doing New American Cursive. It's a better fit for them.

Re: Cursive curriculum help
We got Cursive Logic when it was a kickstarter. My newly 9yo started it in August and just finished it a couple of weeks ago. She enjoyed it.

Re: Cursive curriculum help
Thanks ladies, I just looked up everything everyone suggested. They all seem good, some out of my price now I have it narrowed down to HWOT, New American Cursive and Teaching cursive - This method works.

Re: Cursive curriculum help
I used the Cursive Wizard app. LOVED it. Slight learning curve when you switch from device to paper but super fun and now my girls have lovely cursive.
