I need some juicer recommendations
I’ve been wanting a juicer for a while now, my friend recently lent me her Jack Lalanne power juicer and i enjoyed using it for a couple weeks. But that is my only experience.
Today I found the same juicer at the thrift store and bought it. It has all the parts and looked great... but after spending $32 on organic produce i came home and had a disappointing experience. It doesn’t seem to separate the pulp very well at all. I am able to return it thankfully... But now, I really want to get one that I know works great! What do you use? Re: I need some juicer recommendations
The Omega is what I have and it's fantastic. Not hard to clean and great extraction without getting warm.
I never use it anymore, though. I use my Vitamix to keep the fiber in my diet. |

Re: I need some juicer recommendations
So, I might just use my vitamix then... do you add water to thin your juice out? Do you blend everything together? Oranges, for example? Or do you peel and core your foods?

Re: I need some juicer recommendations
Yes, I start with a cup or two of water. I usually add greens, a peeled lemon, and a cored apple. I don't change my recipe very much, just vary the greens.
It's much faster than juicing, less cleanup, and no, ahem, problems from lack of fiber. |
