Anyone ever use this site?

www.time4learning.com Anyone use it? Is it good? I would use it as a supplemental program.

I haven't used it, but I know many in the home-school group that use it and love it!

I do like what is on it and have used it but do not like to have to do only demo and pay a membership just to get free online stuff so I stay away from most of those. I get use out of all the free items. IT is kinda of fun and nicely organized for finding what you need. I would use it for a fun time or as an extra for inbetween classes.

We used it for a short while for Taeryn for 5th grade, while waiting for a spot in the school where our other kids were. She's back home now, but says she doesn't care for it, it's too game-based for her. But it's a preference, not an educational issue.

We use it for our three that are of school age and love it. I plan on using it for William when he is old enough also, but of course we'll see if it works for him.

There are bits that annoy each of the kids. For instance there are some characters that just seem weird to them. Sometimes we need to supplement or drop the time4learning lesson and do it our own way, but that's what is great about homeschooling.

Fiona has come a long way in math because of this site, but for fractions she has chosen to do some lessons with Daddy instead of with the animated teachers on the site. There are worksheets (labeled as resources under some lessons) you can print out to supplement also. This is what she is using to go over the fractions lessons with Josh.
Colleen is way past needing the kindergarten lessons (she flew through and graduated) but not quite ready to go through 1st LA quickly. So we find other sites and resources to supplement with. We may take a break from time4learning for a bit to reinforce what she has learned there. Also, she flew through the 1st science but can't move on to 2nd because it requires her to read to herself instead of it being narrated to her.
We love to add stuff in from BrainPop (jr and regular) (this is where Colleen is doing more science stuff), LearningPlanet, sheppardsoftware.com , multiplication.com and others.
