I need a punch recipe
Preferably one involving Berry Zinger tea, and it can have alcohol, but the only thing in the house is old red wine and Smirnoff. Thoughts?

Re: I need a punch recipe
What's this for? I'd probably just make it iced tea with sugar or honey and call it good.

Re: I need a punch recipe
Ok so make some super duper strong tea 4 teabags in about 3/4 cup boiling water steep for 5 minutes or so squeeze out bags and toss them.
Puree your berries and strain out the seeds (a mesh strainer would work) Mix tea and berry puree add water and sugar to taste and about a cup of the smirnoff if you want. If you have gingerale or sprite/7up I'd add that too for a little pop and fizz hope that helps! Last edited by Apple-Saucy; 12-14-2011 at 02:32 PM. |

Re: I need a punch recipe
I ended up with Berry Zinger, Lemon-Lime Perrier, a little sugar (1/2c, I think), a few berries, ice, and a teensy bit of vodka. Yum.

Re: I need a punch recipe
When I first read the title I thought, "5 fingers rolled into your palm, a reminder of a passive-aggressive convo with an IL, and a little bit of alcohol for 'liquid courage'"....is that a good enough recipe for a punch?

Re: I need a punch recipe
I remember hearing a formula for traditional tea punch...
1 part sour 2 parts sweet 3 parts strong (alcohol) 4 parts weak (tea or other liquid - adjust the sweet & sour if using juice)
