Organic beef broth and organic veggie broth in quart cartons. I'm so happy to find this!

But then again, now they don't have the organic chicken broth in quarts.

Their 12 pks. of generic soda (orange, grape, "mist" (Mountain Dew knock-off) don't have artificial dyes. "Invisible oranges" and "invisible grapes" they call it.

While we still love real Coke, we think the Aldi cola is pretty good.

On their ad this week, they said that they were working to eliminate all synthetic colors, partially hydrogenated oils and MSG from their product line.

Their new Gatorade is really good. However, they haven't depleted the old stock yet in the warehouse. So watch labels carefully.

I had a bad batch of their old Gatorade. It smelled like solvents. I'll keep an eye out for the new formula, especially if they get the synthetic dyes out of it.

Lately I've been buying the Simply Nature organic refried black beans at Aldi. They are so good. I think we like them better than traditional refried beans, which they also have in organic as well.

I am so surprised: I picked up some fit and active tomato sauce rather than the regular thinking it would be healthier. I decided to read the ingredients today when I saw it on my pantry shelf and the fit and active has high fructose corn syrup!

The other regular Aldi store brand tomato sauce does not. Just a fair warning to those avoiding high fructose corn syrup.

The Fit 'N Healthy brand tends to target specific, mainstream ideas of health goals. Sometimes it's fat, sometimes it's salt. I mostly ignore that brand.

Their organic sauce is far better imo. F&A still follows a lot of early 2000s diet logic.

How much are they per can? (Do Aldi prices vary much from state to state?) I have some that I buy pretty regularly from HT for $.87 a can. They are not organic, though. I would like to try the Aldi ones if they are less expensive.
