It's 6:45 here in TX. The meatballs are cooking,I taught A how to make them. I even let N shake some dried onion in the meat bowl. The pasta is boiling.
And somewhere after that,my own private,internal turkey thing popped out and I am sooooo done.
The kids are turning chairs upside down and leaning them on things to make "our own playground,YAY!" I am ignoring this.
The living room is scattered with odds and ends but I'm pretending they are invisible. My beloved toddler broke my cell phone so I'm not exactly sure when Hubby will walk in the door,but I expect soon?
Have you reached your done point yet today?
I think I will take them to the park,ignore that I've made dinner and get pack yogurt and granola bars. Because the sun is still high in the sky and my leather couch can only take so much.

I reached that point when dinner was cooking. My 5 year old has this ability to crawl into my energy bubble in a way that can't be described. She was just following me around and FEELING at me (not bad or whiny feelings just silently ...there just aren't words!) and I got very crabby about it.

Thankfully DH finished with in 30 minutes and was able to step in and help.

Me! I am done! Today was day 7 of dh being gone at a conference Thankfully my mom was able to come Mon-today to help a bit DH won't be home until very late tomorrow night, assuming weather doesn't mess up his flight

There are so many days of me being done done done, but DH was off today so that helped me endure.

It was good. It's surprisingly relaxing to sit in a swing and watch three little people play at the park. Especially when there aren't too many other people there. Summer isn't very hot this year and my kids were tired and hungry but not too the point of whining when we left. Win!
After dinner, I was undressing N for bed and he curled up in my lap, more then ready for bed. One noisy kiss from my four year old son. A hug from A.
Tomorrow is Friday and Hubby works half a day.
I made it through another long week. And packed eleven boxes.

let's just say i think i am more happy about VBS next week then the kids are the four big ones away for 3 hours every morning. just meeee and the bebe.

and that thread about kids moving out has no effect on me right now either *right now* all i can think is "they will move out someday?? I won't have eleventybillion loads of laundry, dishes, and dinners to make??":l ol but of course i also know when it is actually time i will be in all out panic mode.
