Stomach ache from eating sunflower seeds
I haven't had more than a tiny sprinkle of sunflower seeds in years as I'd not found any that tasted all that good. Well... came across a brand of sunflower seeds in shells a couple of weeks ago....
And I've had them a few times... but twice now I've gotten engrossed in watching an episode of something on tv and sat there mindlessly eating sunflower seeds the entire hour.... I didn't learn the first time from a stomach ache... Now... its the second time and it hurts a lot more.... almost like the worst version of eating too many raw carrots. I don't feel like it will make me sick (its been about 2 hours now since I ate them), but its unpleasant. Is there anything a non-herbal person like me could do to make it feel better quicker? (Its nearly 7pm, shops are closed, I don't have a car and my husband is away on a business trip so it needs to be something I already have.... and tomorrow is grocery day!! D'OH!) Or is this a stick it out thing. I looked it up online and was surprised to read this is a common sort of allergy symptom... could that be it? Or more likely because I ate them midlessly for an hour.
