Default Where do I find clothes for my skinny-mini

My daughter just turned 8 and I'm having a hard time finding clothes that fit her. She's about average height, but very slender. All to often I'll buy her some pants and they are so big around that they fall down, but smaller sizes are too short for her. Help!

Are you buying 8 slims?

Also, pants with an adjustable waist band work well.

Children's place slims have worked well for my skinny boy, maybe their girl slim is similar?

I do slims or leggings, if the leggings are too big we baste a zigzag seam at the waist band to tighten a smidge.

We do leggings and adjustable waist jeans. If the leggings are still too big, I sew darts in them.

I haven't tried any slims, yet. I was just looking at Old Navy and they have some that might work. We have adjustable waist things, but we have to cinch them up so much that they are really bunchy and uncomfortable ( and look kind of dorky ) She is way too quite fashion conscious which adds another layer of complication.

Old Navy slims are to big fir my skinny girl. Just a heads up. Chikdrens place worked well when she was shorter. Its hard. Leggings with the waist band stitched tighter was how we had to do it for a while.

Yea, you may have to do some brand experimentation. we found Old Navy to run a little bigger too.

I like going to Once Upon A Child ( it is a chain of resail shops) because I can have early bird trying 10 different brands. We are changing from toddler sizes to little girl sizes it is hard to find things that fit.

This summer she is just in Jeans that are now capree length.
