I'm not sure how accurate the shows were, but my only experience with that is a TV show I used to watch on Netflix where they used that for people with OCD. I found the show to be really fascinating!

Anyway, I think seeing it encouraged me to try some things even when I find them to be "scary." (I personally find the concept of trying to do one thing every day that "scares" you to be helpful to me.)

Sometimes just talking with a counselor who listens well can help, and they can give you practical tools to help deal with anxiety.

How is your healthy fat consumption? How frequently do you eat green vegetables? I found that when I eat a lot of both those things my brain feels better .

Do you notice it worse right before your period or tied to your cycle at all?

There are other ways of managing anxiety too - counseling/therapy can help as can medication. There are also supplements that can help as well. So diet isn't the be-all-end-all for everyone . But it's a helpful piece of the equation.
