List of chemicals to avoid?
Do we have anywhere a list of chemicals we should be avoiding? Obviously we all work differently and some we'll avoid, where others don't. Just wondered if we have a list.

Re: List of chemicals to avoid?
As in household cleaners? In shampoos and body care products? It might be easier to just use things that are safe alternatives like white vinegar and baking soda and peroxide instead of chlorine bleach for cleaning.I dont use shampoo but husband has found a basic safer soap he washed hair and body ith and you could also clean with. You can use coconut oil instead of body lotions and things like that

For weeds, round-up. It's the same ingredients as Agent Orange.

Parabens and Sodium Lauryl Sulphate (SLS) in hair care/beauty products. Holland & Barrett have a sort article explaining why on their site and sell stuff free from.

Subbing. After reading a food label today, I'd be grateful for a list!

Re: List of chemicals to avoid?
Ummmm... all of them?
But seriously, I've spent about 3 years now googling ingredients in food and beauty products that I don't know what they are. It's a very good way to learn! I'll often stop and google something on my phone in the middle of the grocery store. I usually google something along the lines of "is __________ safe?" There are some big no-nos, like anything that ends in -paraben in body/bath/beauty products, and BHT or carrageenan in foods.
