Re: January Dinners
We went out for Mexican with my younger and brought home food for my oldest. My kitchen is a huge mess right now so even bringing in something wasn't really feasible. (DD1 is old enough to like eat on the couch without making a huge mess). We didn't really go out to dine much before covid and less now. So it was a nice change. It was just the girls and myself. My husbands schedule was weird today and his only time to come eat was when I was with Margaret at ballet. So he jut figured out his own dinner and my oldest decided to just stay home.
I'll be very glad when we have all the painting done.

Re: January Dinners
Tonight was potato soup, homemade rolls, and salad.
I am finding I am enjoying cooking again now that I plan ahead and have set cooking/dinner time.

Re: January Dinners
It's Fishy Friday, so we're having baked white fish with garlic and herbs, mashed potatoes, and roasted tomatoes. (I've got fish sticks and frozen mixed veggies in reserve for the youngers.)
