Veritas Press???

Does anyone or has anyone used this. The full curriculum, not just history, but their full plan. Pros? Cons? I like that it looks to be everything I need, except I can't use their science, I won't use Apologia, but what about the rest?

Well it would be for next year so, 2nd, 4th, and 7th grade.

This is just the reason I won't use it. It is very popular with my friends locally and from previous places I lived. (Most also do the Omibus veritas on-line.) But my kids won't be joining in. I find it more biased than just something to filter. I feel there is so much to correct that why bother even using it.

I have cringed at way too many assignments my best friends kids have. They have done Ominibus from Grade 7 on..... don't get me started about Grade 10 Ominbus..even my staunchly Reformed friends DH said it was over the top at one point...(the tearing down of any theology that is not reformed.)

Personally I think it is easier to use Apologia.

But if you are reforemd in your theology you probably will not have th issues with it that I do.

(I do actually used quite a bit of stuff coming from "reformed" perspective-- but it is all MUCH milder in what it says and I find much easier to modify/correct!
