I got my 2lbs today... though I highly doubt that's enough I should have gotten 4lbs! Especially since I want us to take the detoxing bath. Would 1 cup be enough to make any difference for now? I'm going to take the bath first and then they can go in after me for 20 mins, right?

even just enough to turn the water where you cant see the bottom would be enough.
you could put the older kids in but i would only do a very light bath for anyone younger than 2yrs

because im taking medication i dont take it internally right now but baths and masks externally still help my eczema so i would think baths alone would still benefit you

Yeah... I'm of course not putting the baby in it. What I've read she'll get the benefits of it through my breastmilk. I hydrated 1lb so now I have plenty of the dry and hydrated til I can buy more.

does taking the clay internally ever make anyone feel sick? I feel terrible today and the only thing I can figure out is that I have been taking clay the last few days

it might make you feel sick because you are likely detoxing..

I need to move mine to the kitchen..so I might take it...sigh..it is just sitting on my bathroom counter taking up space.

i would stop taking it for a week then start back up lighter than you did this time (which should have been 1/2tsp right? of the 1 to10 mix) and if that doesnt help perhaps look at the type of clay you are using

You mention that you aren't taking clay internally because you are taking meds.

I have to take Claritin every day. Would that make it so that I shouldn't take clay internally?

im not really sure. the only thing ive read is to not take it with time released meds and to wait 4 hours so the clay doesnt absorb the medicine. id call whoever you bought it from to check
Or take the clay before bed so it works through the night and then take your allergy medicine in the morning so that works during the day (thats what i did when i had to take antibiotics) i would think that should be fine as long as your medicine isnt a 24hour one, might even be better to do it that way since the clay is better on an empty stomach taken at night.

My Claritin is 24 hour time-released. Bummer.

I suppose I could do the clay first thing in the morning and then take Claritin 4 hours later.....or something like that.

if you can spare to try it i would. i found that my allergies were tons better with the clay and i tapered off my allergy meds/inhaler till finally i no longer needed them, just the clay or unless i came into contact with a large amount of an allergin then i would just take benadryl.

I guess that is why I felt so bad - I was taking a lot more than that! Oops!

I thought that it was supposed to be 1-3 mix? Or is that just to hydrate it to put it on you?
