Amazon 4 Groceries

Do you use Amazon to buy groceries? Is so, what are the best deals? I have some money to put toward some grocery items and wondered what are the best things to put our money on.

I have tried to use Amazon for groceries, but they have a huge selection that is not well organized, so I can't even figure out if they have anything I want. Most of my attempts to search has turned up things like candied yak's teat, unicorn blood, and gourmet donkey tail. Expensive and esoteric.

It certainly is an ADD nightmare.

I was trying to think of snacks we usually have, but I normally only buy on sale. Like Annie's Cheddar Bunnies, fruit leather, etc. I'm trying to figure out if it's cheap enough to buy through Amazon. We do have more options around here other than WF. I can usually find things pretty inexpensive on sale...just not always on sale.

You can get great deals on the snack items for which you are looking. But you have to shop carefully. They offer so many variations of packaging that you need to compare to make sure you are buying the best price, kwim? I used to get sposies on membership through them. The deal was amazing but it took me some time to find the right package. (I was buying Huggies All Natural for occasional use, so typically less than one box a month. But the price was good enough to justify buying them and stocking up the extras.)

It is a nightmare for the ADD. Ask me how I know that!

But take your time and focus on one item at a time and search for specific items, not just browsing.

And for heaven's sake, have fun with it! It can be fun!

I think I will approach it again tomorrow with fresh eyeballs. I've been very sick all week and I wanted to just punch the computer. So. I'll take that as my cue to shut the thing down for now.

I get our gluten-free oatmeal through the subscribe and save, and occasionally find other items on sale. But most of the time, their prices are exorbitantly high.

I make sure to check the seller box as amazon.com. That narrowed things down a lot and there's no added shipping like there is from outside vendors. Obviously they don't carry everything though.

We get diapers, maple syrup, Frontier organic vanilla extract and Nutiva coconut oil. (Random, I know.)

ADD keeps me from doing too much on there. So I'm taking one item a month that I would usually buy from the hfs or wf and looking it up on amazon.
