September Meals
Oops, posted in the August thread and realized it's September!
I meal planned today for next week. Seems we are having some retro meals this week. Sloppy joes, tator tot casserole, pimento cheese sandwiches, tuna melts. I think I'm in a weird or nostalgic mood or something.

Tonight we had Big Mac salads which I learned about right here. We have enjoyed adding it to our rotation.

Re: September Meals
This week is the start of classes but only at one of the places I teach at the other one is still in back to school meetings with parents which makes and odd combination.
M- spatchcock lemon chicken ( this is from trader Joe's o got it though the gleening program I have neaver tried it before) potatoes and green beans from a friend's garden. T - I will be out-at a staff meeting-dh can serve left over chicken lemon orzo soup that I made for the purpose lastnight. W - I will once again be out-this time at the meet the teacher night-dh is going to do tacos, I cooked the meat lastnight. This will be the first day of classes for the girls I will probably buy desert for them to have. R - chicken soup with rice F - pasta S - falafel ( another trader Joe's thing I got from gleening) and probably some salad to go with it S-tuna Lunches In general they will probably be sandwiches or left overs. Wendsday we have to take lunch to co-op. If there is any soup left I will take that. I will probably just take pepperoni and fruit for the girls because I know they will eat it. Re: September Meals
Secunda asked for chicken wings. She rarely asks for anything, so we had Buffalo wings, broccoli, and tater tots for dinner.

Last night the kids were here so I made homemade ramen. Tonight I'm planning sloppy joes and tator tots.

We're having Beef Barbacoa for dinner. I have to use the freezer stock; we're getting our side of beef this weekend. There's a lasagna in the freezer for dinner tomorrow.

It was just my oldest and me tonight. Dh had work and just grabbed something out. My youngest had rehearsal and class so just grabbed herself a bit of food early. Dd1 and I just split a box of mac n cheese.
