Oh, idk, ideally I'd get a response, ask if I could share it on a critical site in its entirely, and he'd say yes, and the whole thing would be completely aboveboard. Otherwise I'll have to see, I guess - thoughts about the ethics of it are welcome .

Re: Remind me about Ted Tripp
Reading through the reviews on Amazon, it seems clear it is meant as a sequel, not to supersede the first. Or at least those who read/follow him believe them to be both necessary parts of a whole. My guess is some age and perspective has made him realize where SACH may have fallen short and wrote IACH to complete the picture, not that he has actually changed his beliefs any. I know many people who have grown in grace as they've gotten older, but still believe spanking is important and necessary.

Re: Remind me about Ted Tripp
That by itself is rather frightening, considering the abuse associated with SGM.

Re: Remind me about Ted Tripp
Forty-Two, thank you so much. I believe it is a good thing to demand some accountability from dr. Tripp, and your letter is very well written. I'm curious to the response it will receive.

Re: Remind me about Ted Tripp
I've been wondering how much the lack of the word "spanking" in the promotional materials on his own site is due to avoiding controversy rather than a genuine change in focus . Especially as the promotional materials put out by the conference sponsors tend to have titles and descriptions that *do* include the 's' word. But I don't like to think that way without proof. Hopefully he or his people will respond, and knowing if he still sees spanking as mandatory, and if he still teaches it has a (necessary) spiritual benefit, will cast quite a bit of light on whether the apparent de-emphasis reflects a real, meaningful change or whether it just reflects a change in presentation.

Re: Remind me about Ted Tripp
Nope . Might try again sometime - something a little more casual sounding, maybe .

Re: Remind me about Ted Tripp
I'm sorry to hear that. Perhaps more letters need to be written and by other people also, so they can not ignore the question.

Re: Remind me about Ted Tripp
That is strange, unprofessional at the least. Surely you can't be the first to point out this discrepancy, and he himself obviously knows it exists so I would think therefore he would have at least a standard non-answer statement at the ready to respond to such inquiries. I suppose there's a chance it truly did not go through or no one has read it.
