BTW: As a former sp ed teacher who specialized in autistic spectrum I can say for *some* *families* there are *some* *good* reasons to put special needs kids in school - but socialization? You've got to be kidding me.

I doubt doubt there are good reason, such a speech therapy ( we may go only for speech and then leave if we have to). The idea of socialialization and learning through mimicking other autistic students seems absurd to me honestly!
