I need a knitting projects ideas

We are going on a trip and I should have at minimum of 6 hours in a car that I can knit! But I don't have a project. Help!

I have lots of yarn, I probably ought to start a skirty but I don't want to have to be too careful.

What do you love for fast and only half attention knitting. It will be in the car with pocibly screaming children.

If I don't find some thing fun I will probably take socks, I just started doing them on 0 and don't have a pattern I love.

I was wondering if any one had some thing better

if u have cotton yarn dishcloths or swiffer pads are easy "brainless" knits

otherwise slippers are easy too (if u use a basic pattern!)

Are you looking to finish it in those 6 hours? I'm working on a scarf right now that has this really fun ruffled edge. Maybe something like that. Or do you have any friends expecting babies. I love making things for babies!

No I am not expecting to get it done in 6 hours. If I could get like a forth of the way through it would be good.

I don't have any babies to make presents for.

I planed on bringing a stuffed elephant pattern I got in a mboy and socks. The socks didn't make it. But I got the elephant 90 done in the car part if the trip. If it hadn't been adopted and being slept with right now I could get the ears in and finish it but wiggle worm won't give it up.
