u-pick strawberries
We went this morning and got 8 lbs. we usually get a lot more but the fields were pretty picked over from a busy weekend.
And since G's taken a nice long nap I've gotten: 2 sheets strawberry leather in the dehydrator 3 sheets sliced strawberries in the dehydrator 3 jars of strawberry jam (new recipe - sweetened with honey!) waiting to pop on the counter 1 bag of strawberry puree in the freezer, wasn't quite enough for another batch of jam. We plan on going back in a couple weeks and doing some more dried slices, since I think that's what we'll eat the most of.

Re: u-pick strawberries
Wow, you are so productive!! That is awesome and amazing.
We picked a ton this year, and they all tasted like water. I threw them in the freezer for smoothies.

Re: u-pick strawberries
that's awesome. we have to wait another month or so and that depends on the rains actually stopping {It's rained for two solid weeks here} I did bookmark a local orchard/u-pick farm after reading your list though.
