Re: curling iron burn
Aw, I'm sorry . I had one recently on the back of my neck. I just put some burn cream from my first aid kit on it and eventually it disappeared. It blistered, hardened, went black and then peeled.

Re: curling iron burn
I'd put a couple drops of lavender in some coconut oil and rub that on whenever I thought of it.

Re: curling iron burn
once its healed a little and no longer open, i would put cocoa butter on it for scarring...(i bet the coconut oil would work too, ive never tried it though)
next time you get a burn, put ice on it first, then mustard. i know mustard sounds weird, but there must be healing powers in mustard seeds. i've seen it work wonders on burns in the past; keeping it from scarring and making it feel soooo much better. cold mustard feels even better. when i was sixteen, i worked at a pizza restaurant, and someone flipped a pizza cheese side down on my forearm right when it came out of the oven. i did the cold water thing and then mustard, and i immediatly quit crying as soon as the mustard hit my arm. it blistered just a little, but i think it would have been much worst. and then i did the cocoa butter, and now no scars! hth for the future.... |

Re: curling iron burn
Oh, I forgot about potato. Just cut a potato in half and put that on there for a bit. Sounds weird, but it works.
