I'm happy about 10-10 1/2 weeks so I can take Khaleesi out to see and do and explore. Outside dining, our local brewery (dogs are allowed) the park, shopping, etc. Breeder can't do that with all those puppies.

But she IS using crates with them. AND teaching them their names, and they are coming when called. HIGH FIVE EVERYBODY.

We have less than two weeks left and I am full on puppy nesting. I made a slip cover for his crate, even, so it wouldn't be just huge ugly wire thing.

This crate will be too small for him to stand up in as an adult, but I'm hoping I can be dedicated enough with training that we might not need a crate by then.

It is hard to tell what size your crate is...my Great Pyrenees puppy is 6.5 months old. She outgrew my lab sized crate by about 4 months. Thankfully my MIL had a giant crate she used when her little dog had puppies and we have been able to borrow that. I don't see Mayzie being trust worthy enough to go without a crate for quite a while. Hopefully my MIL won't need her crate back anytime soon
