When making any kind of transition that eliminates something from your diet entirely, you can expect some withdrawal symptoms.

I strongly recommend writing down what you're eating and setting a clock so that you put two or three bits of something in your mouth every two hours for a while.

Making a change like this needs to be intentional, not haram-scaram.

I hope you figure it out and feel better. I have heard that some people don't feel great for a couple of weeks as they make the transition to a meatless diet.

I just wanted to point out that milk has some protein, but it is a lot of carbs. Unless you make the granola yourself with healthy fats and little sweetener, or can find a brand like that, it is also a lot of straight sugar carbs that could send you for a sugar crash after eating.

Can you eat more beans as a protein source? Beans are very good for stabilizing blood sugar, if that is an issue. I have found fats like nuts and seeds with meals usually keep me feeling fuller longer than oils or cheese, and I don't have that jittery "I have to eat" feeling an hour or two later.

I'm so sorry you are feeling so badly.

Are you eating a big enough portion when you do eat?

I'm definitely eating enough. I thought it was the no meat thing, but I ate meat and I don't feel any better, so I'm back to veg. Going to the doctor today.

Ask him to check thyroid and iron.

Thyroid and iron are good. I'm just a little bit hypoglycemic, which explains the shaky. They think the dizzy is totally unrelated. Something about my eustacian tubes. So I'm really relieved this is not all diet related. I still need to work on the snacking, though.

Could an increase in dairy be causing ear stuffiness

Do you feel faint or fuzzy headed?

Default Re: Why am I so shaky?

I did. I got a steroid shot and nasal spray and allergy medicine and I feel quite a bit better. I didn't think about the increase in dairy causing it. AFA the hypoglycemia, I think I'm going to need to make a list of snacks and set a timer to remind myself to eat or something.
