I agree with the pp. Absolutely neuter him. And done correctly, the crate becomes a safe haven. I have pics somewhere of my dogs lounging in their crates, happy as clams - with the doors wide open.

Absolutely neuter him. If he is marking, the behavior will usually decrease within a couple of months. If these are true potty accidents, I agree with getting him checked for a UTI and going onto a more stringent reward and confinement program.

Thank you all so much.....really truly! I'm going to call tomorrow to see about getting him in to be neutered as soon as my dh gets home. We'll just keep on the super strict housebreaking.

Signs of a UTI are frequent urination, having accidents in the house, or blood in the urine.

If he has a UTI, he could be going in the house because he hurts to pee and he is associating going pee with outside...so he does it inside instead.
