Well, this is what I'm working on this month

Yummy Blue Savannah Alpaca wool. Color is a bit off because of the lighting, but it's YUMMY. Jay wanted a scarf and I'm sort of just making this up as I go along.

Still working on the shawl for my MIL's Christmas present

And these will all eventually be balls!

Here's my Super Bowl project...a got a couple of hours' worth of a headstart last night before J came home from his dad's. It's a blanket to match my best friend's nursery (she's due any day now with her first boy). The colors don't show up well, but it's 'espresso' and pale blue with picot balls on the edging.

Here's a closeup featuring our kitty

Whoever asked about the baby pod pattern (Codi, maybe?) - I found one on Ravelry, but it's a pattern that you have to purchase ($4) and yes, I bought it, b/c I'm new to decreasing & am too nervous to wing it

OK, just cast on a wrap using this yarn in the Wall Street colorway.

I need to get a little further and then I'll post a pic. It has the potential to turn out either really cool looking or really awful looking. I'm hoping for cool because the thick/thin alternation adds a really interesting texture to it. We're taking a road trip to Kansas this weekend so I'm hoping to finish the whole thing.

I went to a super cool yarn store yesterday! Came home with some great yarn! I'm currently working on newborn booties and matching hat, and a stuffed cat for Lily. I'll take pics when they're done.

Jen, in this photo, how did you have the baby's legs folded? Are they criss-cross? I wish I had made my pod 11" or 12" instead of 9"... apparently Eva has grown quite a bit this month I'll have to squish her into it for the photos And, did you arrange it over the head first & then let the opening fall as it may? I'm not sure which end to begin with!

Rosalie can't wait to see. Jen that pod is adorable and I might have to make one myself. Katie I can't wait to see yours but seeing the baby I definitely think her legs are folded up.

Yes, the legs are folded. I think we put her body in first and then pulled it over her head like a hood.

I finished my sister's wrist warmers... Again, i'm sorry for the huge pictures, I'm posting from my phone and photobucket won't let me resize...

The color is actually much more teal than the pictures show:

Wow. Yea they're almost green irl. They turned out beautifully.

I knit five more inches of the lace, but I dropped a stitch and it 'ran' down all five inches while I obliviously knitted. I had to pull it out....sigh. So now I'm back where I was yesterday.
