I have read skimmed through this book. I found some information helpful and some not. I think it's all a matter of what may work for you? Every baby is different, so I found that the EASY method worked for my son. I am not so sure about my newborn. Most of the book, I could not agree with though, but there were some good points. I personally watched the dvds as well and those were interesting. Like I said, I found some information helpful.

I am glad it worked out for your son! And it's a relief to hear you say you could not agree with most of the book! Her breastfeeding advice and the spacing of the feeding plan she recommends can be detrimental - and while some women's bodies may be able to tolerate the feeding intervals, for other women it will have the effect of gradually diminishing their milk supply.

They are all different, that's for sure. I support the idea that something I don't like can be ok for someone else, but in terms of recommending this book for new parents, here's where I stand: sometimes the noise-to-signal ratio is too high to be able to recommend a book, especially to new parents who might not be equipped yet to distinguish between the "noise" and the "signal".

Usually the truly helpful and healthy things in a book like this will be found in other, better, safer books.
