also, I have ridiculously bad gerd but I can drink organic fair trade Sumatran coffee and even Ethiopian coffee. fwiu coffee from South America is very acidic because it is hulled using machines that rip off the hull and leave the acid in the bean. In Africa and the surrounding area they dry the beans in the sun and the hulls fall off, taking the acid with them due to the time it takes. Turns out I even love the flavors better
