Re: Cookbook for kids
We had the Better Homes and Gardens Junior Cookbook and it was fantastic. I see there's a new edition of it out now.
Also, Matthew Locricchio has a series of International cookbooks that are wonderful - well-written, authentic recipes. I've cooked through most of them with my kids, but we got them from the library. For that matter, you might want to check your library. Mine has an astounding array of cookbooks in the kids' section. You could try out several and it should help to narrow your choices.
I bought the cookbook Knitlove linked to for my brother when he graduated from college and it's a great choice, too. It has loads of recipes (most kids' books have far fewer than regular cookbooks.)
