Re: Basic Stand mixer
I know she doesn't "need" one but even my husband gets tired kneading dough by hand and she does like to make macaroons which take a lot of work with the hand mixer we have. We don't have any allergies just my dh has to stay low carb. He was diagnosed prediabetic a yr ago and has since gone very low carb and kept his numbers in the normal range. I have been doing the same for moral support so we try to stay away from most of the things that dd wants to make. This means she will probably only be able to bake small amounts maybe once a week which is why I wasn't sure if spending close to $200 on a mixer is worth it. Dh says it's ok because it will last a long time and she can take it with her as an adult.
