A few details and some whining in the spoiler. Since C is the youngest of three I just don't have hours and hours to get her to sleep. My bigger ones need me too! It's not reasonable to get in the car and drive around every time. Not only will she not nurse to sleep any more but she will no longer transfer to the bed after falling asleep in the Ergo (which used to be our go-to bedtime plan). I'm seriously losing my mind. I'm feeling angry with her every night. I'm also feeling let down by our move towards being "more" AP with this baby as she has zero ability to help herself fall asleep. It just has to overtake her by accident. And I don't have the time and energy to facilitate that every nap and bed time. It's now after 10 and she's crawling around on the couch, rubbing her eyes and playing with coasters because I just couldn't stand to hang out in the dark bedroom for another second while she fights sleep. She needs more sleep than she's getting. I need hope that she'll move toward more independent (not totally independent, but at least learning to relax a bit at bed time) sleep in the foreseeable future. I feel guilty for feeling frustrated. But right now I feel more frustrated than guilty. And yes, she's getting a zillion teeth. And yes, we're treating her in every way we know how.
