, and agree. Their daddy was too thin, admittedly by the owner, because he was recovering from a bug or something, and also he's like 12 years old. I didn't look too much at mama's weight... His 1 year old older brother puppy could have stood to gain about 20lbs, IMO. There's healthy slender and then there's skinny, yk?

), and I never felt like he was unhealthy. I agree that it is unwise to try to bulk up a giant dog very fast or constantly feed them that way so that they grow too fast
