I'm glad he doesn't look emaciated in pictures
... but if you held him, I promise you would feel the same way. his bones are right on the surface and I can see them through his fuzz. When I gave him a bath once we got home, it was hard to look at. His haunches are REALLY ... haunchy. He's sooo boney

I do think it's possible that they swung just a little too far to the slow-grow side... to the point of not feeding quite enough.
You guys made me feel better though
. I'm just going to supplement him a little bit, til he's healthy, and then I will stop.
ETA: Just for the record, I'm not trying to get him to be a MASSIVE puppy
. My goal is just to not feel nothing but ribs when I pass my hand over his sides.
