Our first baby was a surprise and then he did not make it. So we said we wanted to wait awhile before another one. We never could seem to find the right time, so God surprised us with Ivy. That was without a doubt the worst time of my life. My pregnancy was terrible and I never wanted to go through it again. Fast forward three years later and we realized we wanted another one. We waited and there will be five years between Ivy and this baby.
After this, I think we are done. I am miserable and barely able to take care of myself, much less Ivy. James is concerned about money and how I will deal with both kids when he is out of town since Ivy is autistic and does require a lot more hands on care than most four year olds. There is also the concern that this baby will be autistic as well and that will leave me with two children with special needs without a lot of help.
