Sooo . . . I this bottle of cherry extract from cookies I made a few years ago.
I don't want to make dessert with it.
Could I put it in muffins?
What else can I do with it?
I am thinking of just dumping it. I hate to waste stuff though. And I just threw away a half of a chicken pot pie (like a big one, so 4 slices). long story about what happened to my poor pot pie
So they were out of the usual crust that I buy to make my pot pies, so I got a different crust and it's slightly thicker.
I didn't take that into account and my dd had a soccer zoom mtg at 5:30 and my ds a scout zoom meeting at 7.
I scheduled the pot pie to be done/dinner ready at 6:15.
But when the timer went off it wasnt quite done because the crust was thicker than what I usually buy.
No big deal I cook somemore, but now we dont sit down til dinner until 6:40. Ds eats one slice and I look at the time and say - your meeting is in 2 minutes and you need to be in uniform. So off ds goes and I say will you want more and he says yes.
So I take the chicken pot pie and put foil over it and put it in the turned off oven. I notify ds of the location of his pot pie and say just leave it out and Ill put it up. he gives me the thumbs up.
Meeting runs til 8:30 and ds goes up, brushes teeth, goes to bed.
Pot pie in oven today. I realize it when I say - we will do leftovers for lunch.
So now I am renewed to not throw anything else away today foodwise. though its just cherry extract not food food.
