I love my pressure cooker - well, I loved my old one until I dropped it and broke the handle
, and the replacement one I got is not nearly as flexible and reliable. But still, I like the one I have. I used my old one for brown rice - 20 min. cook time vs. 45. And I love it when I forget to thaw something, or I want a slow-cooked taste in just a few minutes.
For a scatter-brain like I, it can be a life-saver...I may plan to have potato soup but get home with only 15 minutes until lunch time. So I throw it in the pressure cooker and in 10 minutes, it's cooked. I LOVE it!! It saves energy/electricity too.
