I really don't know; it's been so long since I made chicken. If I were you I'd probably do a test run- make some for your family (freeze it if you don't want it right away) and see how much you can make in there and how well it turns out, etc. But I like the idea of cooking it there because you can also buy it at your destination and not have to bring it with you.
