Re: Garden Planning
We got a couple bags of fertilizer and soil and another box, and rearranged the other ones so they are a bit longer, to essentially be 4'x12' and 4'x8'.
I need to rent a mantis or find one to borrow so we can turn the dirt up better and mix it properly.
I need to take the mint out and find someplace else to plant it. I might try to put it alongside the shed since nobody sprayed there I don't think (neighbor guy tried to be helpful and spray weeds along the back of the house last year so that's not gonna be a safe spot yet to plant them). We are for sure doing lettuce, try for some spring mix/mixed greens for DD2s turtle to eat, some beans since they did so well last year, and carrots, and probably try tomatoes again, see if we can get them better this year. Peppers and onions too I think, and maybe some broccoli? Not sure, I have to check my seeds. We just had a frost last week so we tend to wait til a bit later towards Memorial Day to plant.

Ditto square foot gardening, it's super easy to understand and so much fun!
