I lived in England as a child, more than 45 years ago (yikes). It was tradition for the neighbors to bring around pots of black-eyed peas on New Year’s Day (or was it Boxing Day?). Everyone would have a taste from the same spoon, but my mom would run to the kitchen to get us our own spoon.
Tonight I made gf Mac and Cheese with chopped ham and kale. I used this recipe
