L O V I N G this thread!

Well, I am new to homeopathy, so my answers are VERY simple, short and ill experienced as we have not been very ill. I have not been to the Dr. once in at least 3 years (except for OB stuff) for myself, and my son has only been to the ND once.

I think it is BECAUSE of our views on medicine that make it so we do not have to go so much. (ie: treating things naturally, with homeopathy, etc..)

Homeopathic books I've found helpful: I actually do not own a homeopathic book but REALLY want something like this http://www.amazon.com/Homeopathy-Hom...6036748&sr=8-2 Im looking forward to reading the book suggestions in this thread to add to my wish list! We get our homeopathic recommendations from a friend who is studying to be a homeopath and also from a computer my LHFS has in their natural section (where they keep the homeopathic remedies) that when submitting your illness or problem, it gives a long list of possible remedies, including homeopathic remedies.

Combination remedies that have worked in my family: Also the Hyland's Teething Tablets and Calms Forte is all we have used as a combo.
Conditions/illnesses that have been successfully treated via homeopathy (classical or combination):

It's hard to say because I usually am doing other home remedies as well. So not sure WHAT exactly cured it.

How homeopathy has affected your perspective on health & healthcare: I have to agree a lot with what mommylove posted for this answer. It is nice to be treated as an equal by someone who is working WITH you and your body (in my case a ND). THAT I am not used to and LOVE! It IS nice to know that if something comes up in the middle of the night, *I* can fix it. I have confidence in myself and the remedies to do the job and if it is something beyond me, then I can call the Doc. We also only use Traditional Western Medicine (or Modern Medicine) as a LAST resort for anything in our family, but are VERY grateful they are there for when we need them.

Cannot wait to read more in this thread!!!
