Hi, just rememebered something we made for someones birthday and thought i'd share it here if some of you are stuck for christmas ideas or something.

I bought some cheap photo frames and did our own stain glass windows. normal poster paint on the glass and then cover with clear varnish once dry to make it set (if not varnished it will chipp off - useful if you make a mistake!!!)

Once all dry, we put either the old frame, or make a new frame with card and gluin n sticking (can anyone tell i was a nursery nurse and loved messy time!! )

then instead of using the photo frame back we got some sticky back plastic (or something stronger) stuck it on the back of the glass (hidden behind frame) and used string or ribbon or something to make a hanging. then it can hang anywhere. (put on a suction thing to make it stick to windows for the light to shine through!) You could just put a sheet of coloured paper/white paper behind the glass and put the normal photo frame on just to make a funky kind o picture for someone.
