This was one of my better attempts and all measurements are approximate.
1 cup (about 5 average) carrots
1/2 large red pepper
3 TBS flax seeds
6 TBS water
1 cup raw sunflower seeds, ground
1/2 medium onion (I used a sweet onion)
2 stalks celery (some strings removed)
Bragg's to taste
Grind flax seeds and place in small bowl with water to "gel" (for lack of a better word
). Grind sunflower seeds. I do both of these in a coffee grinder.
In food processor using "S" blade, grind carrots small, then add flax mixture, sunflower seeds,onion, pepper, celery and Bragg's. Can serve with veggies or on a bed of lettuce, etc. I was thinking of adding some soaked sun-dried tomatoes next time
Also, if you want you can add a few pieces of red pepper, celery and onion towards the end for chunks
