Its granite ware. It says right in the manual not to. NOt only can I crack the top, but there are concerns over temperature fluctuation and successfully avoiding early spoilage.

And I don't have a pot big enough. I'd have to buy one. Which I don't want to do since I have a perfectly brand new CANNER. Not shouting at you - just general

Don't have a barbeque, just a table top grill.
Also, pot is too big for grill. I measured.

Well, hey if you have a few free hundred dollars hanging round..... and then room for all the stuff I'd have to push out of my house to fit a freezer.....
