I like beets. I grew up eating them pickled mostly since my mother's side of the family is full-blooded Swedish! But I like them not pickled as well with a little butter and salt or only just salt if I'm too lazy to get out the butter.



This weekend we are having my grandma's meatloaf, crockpot mashed potatoes, gravy, and green beans.

However, it called for oats, which I cannot eat because I am allergic to them. I would have never thought of making an apple crisp with cranberries! I am getting ready to also make some Taziki style rice for an additional side dish. I had a bunch of limes to used up, so this recipe will use most of them up.
