I haven't posted to this thread in a while, but if you're looking for a pretty easy/quick side that's something different from the same old same old, DH and I enjoyed this last week. I hadn't made it in forever and it really hit the spot. The boys don't like it

I was also proud of myself for throwing together chicken fried rice last week out of a bunch of fridge and freezer leftovers. It actually ended up being pretty delicious.
Tonight I'm pulling pasta fagioli out of the freezer. It's a good day for soup. It's been good for me to clean out freezer/pantry but now I'm sad b/c our freezer meals are almost gone
I've got one more bag of soup, a pan of enchiladas, and some entree-only stuff (carnitas and Italian drip beef and smoked turkey) but no more whole-meal stock. Which means I have to actually start cooking again. Le sigh. Soon I should be able to wear DD on my back and then that will be a game-changer.
