We have several libraries within 1/2 hour of us (where we live, that's considered super close ). The one closest to us has storytime & an indoor walking track but not a whole lot more for the littles other than books. Another one, where an enrichment class we go to has "rented" space, the library has a fantastic play area & S.T.E.M. activities. Our enrichment program does 2 different classes but my guy is only interested in the one so after that's over, we go play in the play area or the S.T.E.M area. Clearly, a library isn't necessarily a place to have dance parties, etc. but maybe see what's available that could work for you. Does your area have a facebook homeschool group? That's how I found our enrichment class (they do art & creative writing) & there are a ton of other activities posted regularly. Maybe your area has something like that.

Of course, I say all of this just in case it's something you haven't thought about. I reread your original post & sounds like it was afternoon when you were making the most noise. IMHO, that's a bit unreasonable even for someone who works late or into the wee hours. Maybe you could bake a batch of cookies/muffins/whatever to try & make a peace offering & ask to help you brainstorm to make you all happy. But I do stand behind what I saie earlier, if they're being unreasonable, I wouldn't worry too much.
