Re: Bread Machine Recipes?
I have played around with my bread machine a lot, but never really found my groove with it until this year. I love this whole wheat bread recipe. It is so easy!
1 c plus 1 T warm water
1 T coconut oil
1T other oil (olive, canola, etc.)
2 T honey
1 tsp salt
3 c white whole wheat flour
1 scant T instant or bread machine yeast
Put on dough cycle. Then, shape and put in the pan. Allow it to rise 30-40 minutes in a warm place, then bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
I also have four really good, really easy recipes that use all purpose flour or non-whole wheat bread flour. One is for bread machine cinnamon rolls from moneysavingmom. I love them because there is no rising time needed!!! I usually make the rolls up the night before, then cover and refrigerate until morning, then bake them up freshly for breakfast. I would love someone to try them with whole wheat flour and tell me how they were.
I also use a dinner roll recipe from bettycrocker that is really easy and yummy, and use half whole wheat and half white all purpose.
And then a french bread recipe that I make pretty often. It is on food.com and is either foolproof or failproof french bread, I can't remember the title.
Moneysavingmom also has a recipe for breadsticks that I love.
I think the secret is just to use the dough function and then bake in the oven. It really is still easier than making bread in the kitchen aid, even if I do have to still shape it and bake it.
