Thanks for your response. split peas and qinoa is what we ended up having.

the ND actually said the boys are growing and the need lots of proyien and I should feed them chicken

I explained that we eat beans and whole grains and lentils and veggies and fruit and nuts adn she still recomended chicken.

They are sick with a cold, Eli ended up with two ear infections but Joey is pretty much back to normal.

I'm pretty new to veggie eating and it is a choice more from a financial standpoint than and ideolical one at this point. If it would have been convient to get some good quality chicken I would have, but it was not convient.

Do you think she was wrong? Should I find someone else?
