You set a stage. . . you set the child up to do wrong. ..and then discipline that. For instance. You take the cookie jar, put it right within their sight, you make sure there's a step stool where they can see/reach it, you tell them "Do not touch the cookie jar!", thereby making sure they see it, and know that they are not allowed to touch it, then you leave, peek around the corner, and when the child gets to the cookie jar, you come right back in and switch them. You are 'training' them, 'conditioning' them.
