Tonight I cut the amount of lentils in half and added a pound of ground venison. I halved the chicken broth too but it kept needing more. I also used more of the spices. And I added a little tomato paste. Like a teaspoon or two. (I freeze tomato paste and I was having to hack it out in little slivers [emoji38] )

I've been lazy about tacos for the last several years and had resorted to McCormick taco seasoning. But it's really not as good. We do lots of different kinds of tacos though and these traditional ones were hardly ever in the menu because they just weren't very good. Now that I'm not being so lazy, we're eating them more! And honestly it's still super easy.
